The Beauty in the Blend
How motherhood, creativity, and entrepreneurship are shaping my next chapter.

Last week, we talked about alignment—through the lens of Human Design and how your energy, rhythm, and wiring influence the way you build. That episode cracked something open for me. Not in a loud, lightning-bolt kind of way, but in a quiet realization I couldn’t ignore:
I’ve been building a business that works—but not one that fully reflects all of me.
For years, I’ve blended motherhood and entrepreneurship out of necessity. My babies were in the background while I recorded. I breastfed between strategy calls. I edited podcast episodes at the kitchen table. And for a while, just making it work felt like enough.
But recently, I’ve found myself craving more than efficiency.
I’ve been craving beauty. Creativity. Joy.
Not just in the results of my work—but in the process of it.
Here’s what I’m discovering:
Alignment isn’t just about how you run your business.
It’s also about what you’re allowing your business to hold.
And for me? That includes glitter and grapevine wreaths and seasonal centerpieces. It includes cozy traditions with my daughters and handmade moments that make our house feel like a home. It includes the part of me that doesn’t want to be seen only as a strategist—but as a woman who creates, who nurtures, and who leads with heart.
So no, I’m not leaving behind podcasting, visibility, or strategy.
I’m simply expanding the definition of what it looks like to show up fully.
Because when I zoom out and look at the big picture—this is the thread that’s always connected everything I do:
Helping women own their voice
Creating something that matters
Building a life and business that feels like home
So yes, the content is evolving. You’ll start to see more creative projects, seasonal inspiration, and reflections on what it means to build from a place of wholeness. But the mission? The mission hasn’t changed.

If you’ve been feeling that quiet tug too—the one that says, “There’s more to me than what I’m showing…”—I want to invite you to pause and check in with yourself. Not to overhaul everything, but to listen more closely.
Here’s a quick self-check you can do today to realign your business with the version of you that’s evolving:
1. What feels light right now? What feels heavy?
(Your energy will tell you the truth before your brain does.)
2. Is there a part of your creativity, calling, or identity that you’ve pushed aside to “stay on brand”?
(And what might shift if you gave it some room to breathe?)
3. Would the business I’m building still serve the life I want a year from now?
(If not, what small pivot could bring you closer?)
4. What story do I want my business to tell about me?
(Is it just about what I do—or who I am, what I value, and how I live?)
5. Is my current strategy rooted in someone else’s blueprint—or my own vision?
(There’s no shame in following the steps, but freedom lives in the edit.)
Take five minutes. Journal it. Voice note it. Reflect on it. And then, give yourself permission to start building with both purpose and beauty in mind.
Because alignment isn’t a luxury—it’s the foundation of sustainable success.

“When I started building from alignment instead of assumption, everything shifted—from how I priced my offers to how I protected my peace.”
Read that again.
Sometimes, clarity isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing what makes sense for you.
